If resistance builds strong muscles, will it not also ensure the strengthing of a team and message? Leaders work their message daily to ensure the advancement of their cause. Leaders must spend regular think time as to how they will communicate their vision. Knowing how to both answer your new and old critics, as well as being able to paint a clear picture of where you are going, will in turn create a strong downward communication culture that is necessary to build a team. If the older team members can communicate and defend the vision in the same fashion as the founders, all new and potential team members will know they have a critical part to play in the mission!
