Leaders recognize the power an apology has to strengthen the office of “leader”. At times leaders may say or do things that are difficult for their teams to digest. If not careful, a leader can swell up with pride and in turn risk compromising the office of “leader” for those who will hold the office in the future. Taking the time to listen to your teams concerns and apologizing when a mistake has been made will display authenticity and bring tremendous credibility to the office of “leader”.
